As a mother of four children, sleepless nights have become a regular occurrence for me. It could be during those initial days with a newborn, a toddler in pain from teething, or even when my older kids are under the weather—it seems I’ve felt the effects of sleep deprivation more times than I can count.

Many individuals face challenges in both falling and remaining asleep every night, leading to feelings of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustiveness.

Lack of sleep can profoundly alter a person’s behavior, affecting their emotions and interactions with loved ones.

This can even result in humorous mishaps, such as putting your daughter’s ballet shoes in the fridge or mistakenly calling a colleague by the wrong name.

Acknowledging these lighthearted mistakes that arise from sleep deprivation, TYLENOL® PM is launching a social initiative encouraging individuals to share their #IWasSoTired confessions in exchange for rewards.

My #IWasSoTired Confession:

There’s one particular instance when my exhaustion was palpable after a long night with a little one. While my older kids were in the kitchen debating lunch options, I proposed chicken nuggets—a quick and easy choice that might allow me a few moments to rest. Although I can’t recall their exact objections, I distinctly remember responding by calling them “Picky Chicken,” which naturally led to hysterics from the kids. This moment has become a humorous anecdote in our family lore, often surfaced whenever someone expresses a particular food preference. My younger ones, now 6 and 8, still bring up the “picky chicken” phrase when picky eating discussions arise.
