Transforming Breakfast | Ditch the Spoon
Product samples were received. All thoughts expressed are my own.
Breakfast has long been a critical part of our daily nutrition, but it is evolving. As family dynamics shift, so too do the ways in which we approach our morning meals.
In the midst of preparing my children for school, I often find my own breakfast reduced to just a cup of coffee. By the time everyone is dressed and fed, it seems like there’s no opportunity for me to sit down for a meal.
That’s far from ideal.

belVita Bites offer a practical solution for busy mornings. They require no utensils. Each 50g serving (one pouch) delivers: 230 calories, 4g of fiber*, and 20g of whole grains.
In collaboration with Registered Dietitian Keri Gans, Life Coach Christine Hassler, and author of Eat It to Beat It David Zinczenko, belVita shares valuable tips for a nutritious breakfast and a smoother morning routine.
Healthy Breakfast Tips
- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist Keri Gans recommends, “Pairing a serving of belVita, which contains about 20g of whole grains and 4g of fiber per pack, with a low-fat Greek yogurt and fruit creates a perfect on-the-go breakfast.”
- According to David Zinczenko, author of Eat It to Beat It! and the Nutrition and Wellness Editor at ABC News, “In today’s fast-paced world, people seek options rich in nutrition, such as protein and fiber. Combining belVita with non-fat yogurt and fruit meets those criteria with protein, fiber, and whole grains.”
- Life coach and author Christine Hassler states, “Incorporating a habit of having a complete breakfast starts with committing to it for 40 days.”

I’m just as guilty as many when it comes to prioritizing my breakfast. It was only after I began prioritizing a healthy breakfast that I realized the positive effects it had on my mood, energy, and even my weight management.
Did You Know…
- Women should aim for around 30g of fiber daily, while men should target approximately 35g.
- According to a study by NPD Group Inc., Americans typically spend only 12 minutes each morning on breakfast, which is considerably less than the time spent on lunch (28 minutes) or dinner (24 minutes).
- Having breakfast not only boosts our blood sugar, enhancing brain function for the day ahead, but it also kick-starts our metabolism, curbs cravings later on, and improves our mood.
- Incorporating dietary fiber from whole grains into a balanced diet can help lower blood cholesterol and may reduce the risk of heart disease.
My supply of belVita is quickly diminishing. I’m convinced that I’m permanently trading in my spoon!
Have you given belVita Bites a try? You won’t miss your spoon, I assure you.
