I can hardly believe it, but in just under two weeks, my kids will be heading back to school!

Where did our summer go?

Sending two kids back to school in new outfits can be quite expensive. That’s why we decided to visit Kmart to see what they had available.

It had been a while since our last visit since our local store moved, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of girls’ denim. They’ve greatly improved from just basic jeans… Emma is a fan of skinny jeans, and I found a few styles for her to try on.

Emma was thrilled to find so many items she adored. She enjoys dressing up in skirts, leggings, and cozy sweaters for the winter, and there were plenty of options for her here.

Dresses are her absolute favorite clothing piece, and Kmart had a wonderful selection.

On the other hand, my son Ethan prefers a much simpler look. He sticks to pants, denim jeans, and button-down shirts—nothing more, nothing less. His morning rituals always make me chuckle as he expresses his opinions on his outfit and hairstyle.

We headed to the dressing room with our favorites in hand, and here are some standout items the kids loved, giving them two thumbs up.

By the end of the shopping excursion, we managed to snag nine items within our $75 budget—pretty impressive, right? I’m genuinely pleased with the new line of children’s clothing at Kmart. Emma (the fashion-forward) agrees that the styles are trendy, and my wallet appreciates their affordability!
