DonorsChoose.org is a charitable organization that has successfully initiated over 700,000 projects for teachers, benefiting more than 18 million students across the United States. Currently, more than 70% of public schools have teachers seeking funding for projects, with over 2 million individuals contributing upwards of $425 million to initiatives they believe in. This initiative has supplied vital resources—like books, art materials, field trips, and technology—to students, especially those from low-income families and areas affected by natural disasters. With Staples’ $1 million donation, combined with customer contributions during the back-to-school season, we can support teachers in expanding their classrooms’ potential.

Starting June 26 and running through September 10, shoppers who spend $25 or more at any Staples location will find a unique entry code on their receipt, enabling them to enter the sweepstakes online at Staples.com/StaplesForStudents. A grand prize will be awarded to one lucky winner, granting them a $50,000 scholarship along with a trip for two to Los Angeles to meet the iconic Katy Perry. Additionally, four more winners will receive tickets for travel to Los Angeles, including a two-night stay and spending money to join Perry at the VIP Winners Celebration.
