Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes Recipe
Baking and decorating cakes is a passion of mine, yet time constraints can limit my creativity. Rather than serving plain cupcakes, why not add a delightful twist to make them extraordinary?
This recipe shows you how to enhance a simple cake mix to create an exciting hidden peanut butter cup surprise inside each cupcake.

INGREDIENTS
1 box Chocolate Cake Mix (plus additional ingredients as per the box)
32 unwrapped Reese’s Miniature Peanut Butter Cups
1/2 cup softened Butter
1 cup Peanut Butter
3 tablespoons Milk
2 cups Powdered Sugar

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
3. Prepare the cake batter according to the instructions on the box.
4. Fill each liner about halfway with batter.
5. Insert a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup into each liner and gently press it down.
6. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
7. Let the cupcakes cool completely.

8. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and peanut butter.
9. Gradually add in the powdered sugar; if it becomes too thick, add a little milk to achieve the desired consistency.
10. Once fully blended, transfer the frosting to a piping bag and decorate each cupcake.
11. For garnish, chop any remaining peanut butter cups or drizzle chocolate syrup on top.
