As someone who loves to hunt for bargains, the holiday season intensifies that passion, especially when shopping for my four kids. It’s crucial for me to maximize every dollar spent.

This year, I turned to Kohls.com to search for the most coveted toys for Emma and Ethan.

We made an early visit to Santa this year, where both kids came prepared with lengthy wish lists.

Particularly notable was how they responded to Santa’s final question…

“Which item on your list is the one thing you really want this year?”

Ethan immediately exclaimed he wanted a robot dinosaur.

Emma’s heart was set on accessories for her American Girl doll.

With a budget capped at $100 for this shopping excursion, I needed to make every dollar count.

Thankfully, I was armed with coupons and sale items to help me maximize my budget.

I found a Roboraptor at an impressive price. With excellent reviews, this specific model was a Kohl’s exclusive in green—truly a hit for any young boy!

Finding accessories for the American Girl doll proved a bit challenging at first. Then it clicked—I recalled that Kohl’s carries “Dollie and Me” outfits!

Thanks to the discounts and my coupons, I purchased matching pajamas for both Emma and her doll for less than the cost of just one pair of pajamas for Emma. Plus, it was the perfect match!

I had initially planned to check out with just those two items, but upon discovering I had a little leftover from my budget, I continued browsing. Then, I stumbled upon a delightful Mommy and Me apron set. Comprising three pieces—one for Mom, one for the girl, and one for the doll—it was simply too adorable to resist!
