A Sneak Peek at the Kansas City Chipotle Cultivate Festival
As a proud Chipotle ambassador, I am thrilled to share this information with my readers. All views expressed are entirely my own.

Recently, I attended a preview event for the upcoming Chipotle Cultivate Festival in Kansas City, and I’m excited to share my experiences.
What Exactly is the Chipotle Cultivate Festival?
This festival is completely FREE for all attendees! No tickets required—just come to the park. Every chef demonstration, performance, and activity is complimentary too. Feel free to bring your children, grandparents, or even your furry friends—but leave the iguanas at home. The only costs involved are for the delicious food and drinks available for purchase.
Mark your calendars for the festival on July 18, 2015, at Penn Valley Park from 11 am to 7 pm. Remember, admission is absolutely free!

As Chipotle is one of the key food vendors at the festival, we couldn’t resist partaking. As avid Chipotle fans, it’s a perfect fit for our family of six meat lovers and six vegetarians. Finding healthy, tasty options for quick dinners can be challenging, but Chipotle accommodates everyone with their sustainable ingredients.

Arriving with an appetite was essential, as our first stop was the Chipotle booth, where I got to create my own Chorizo taco.

Chorizo is currently undergoing testing in the Kansas City area, and I must say—it is absolutely DELICIOUS!
Not familiar with Chorizo? Get ready for a treat! Chipotle’s version consists of a mix of ground chicken and pork, seasoned with paprika, cumin, garlic, and a splash of red wine.

My husband also had the chance to sample Boulevard’s Cultivate Farmhouse Ale (featured in the taco photo).

Indeed! Boulevard will have their Cultivate Farmhouse Ale for you to try at the festival as well.
With numerous tasting opportunities in the Tasting Hall, you might leave with a few new favorite discoveries.

We also enjoyed samples from Somerset Ridge Winery during the preview. Although I usually don’t drink wine, I explained my preferences when offered a glass.

To my surprise, after a brief discussion, she introduced me to a product from their winery that I not only liked but absolutely loved!
This new favorite is Citron, a delightful blend of white wine, brandy, and organic lemon. As a non-wine drinker, I couldn’t resist its appeal—try it out in the tasting hall!

If beer or wine isn’t your thing, perhaps you enjoy coffee? I certainly do, especially when it’s locally sourced.

The Roasterie will offer coffee to keep you energized as you explore the festivities along with other reputable brands.

Hankering for more eats? It’s wise to have something in your stomach before tasting, so don’t miss out on Pizzeria Locale and Little Freshie, among other fantastic food options offered at the festival.

Dessert is always a highlight for me, and you must try Poppy’s delicious passionfruit-mango sorbet.

If chocolate is your preference, their black sea salt chocolate ice cream and Gianduja (hazelnut and chocolate) ice cream are both outstanding choices.
For additional details on the festival, including schedules for bands, food, beverages, and activities, visit the Chipotle Cultivate website. There’s even a special Kids Zone for the little ones!
