Having spent 23 years in Motherhood, I’ve encountered my share of chaotic “moments.” You know what I mean—those instances when frustration peaks and you feel like you might just snap.

It’s a normal occurrence. You yearn for just a moment of solitude, even if it means hiding in the bathroom. The baby is wailing in the back seat, desperate to escape the car seat, while sleep becomes a fierce adversary in the battle for naptime. Meanwhile, your voice remains mysteriously silent until you reach your breaking point, and it seems like your kids’ toys are multiplying as you clean up after them.

While I mostly joke about my temporary breakdowns, I have a few coping strategies that might resonate with other mothers:

  1. Run to the bathroom, lock the door, and sob while pretending not to hear their cries for “Mommy?” or see those tiny fingers pushing under the door.
  2. Step outside onto the back deck, holding the door closed while ensuring the kids are safe as you take a breather from your panic attack.
  3. Quietly put on their favorite show, settle them in front of the TV, and (if necessary) take five minutes to yourself in the car.
  4. Forget about your diet, grab some chocolate, and savor every moment with closed eyes.
  5. Wait for the kids to fall asleep and pour a generous glass of wine… to the brim.

These points may mostly come off as humor, but many moms can likely relate to at least one of these experiences. I wouldn’t trade a moment of motherhood for anything, but every once in a while, Mommy needs a little personal “time out.” M üller Yogurt offers a way for moms to indulge in that much-needed break while savoring something delectable.

The Dessert Inspired flavors from M üller include:

These yogurts look delicious and would make a perfect “not really naughty” dessert. I’m sure the extra goodies really take the taste to a new level of yum.
