Playful Strawberry Love Monster Recipe for Valentine’s Day

Strawberry Love Monster

Combining strawberries and chocolate is a classic choice for Valentine’s Day.

Why not make this treat a bit whimsical while expressing your affection?

These adorable Strawberry Love Monsters are perfect for children or as a cheeky present for your partner.

Ingredients you will need:
– Strawberries
– Paper straws
– Melting chocolate (I recommended Godiva)
– Edible candy eyes (ours were sourced from Target)
– White icing (for decorating)

Begin by inserting the straws into the strawberries; I like to push them directly through the center of the stem. Set them aside for now.

Melt the chocolate in the microwave by placing it in a bowl and heating it for intervals of 15 seconds. Stir after each interval until it becomes silky smooth.

Dip each strawberry in the melted chocolate, then add a candy eye on top and set aside.

Continue this process for each strawberry, then refrigerate to allow them to harden.

Once set, take them out and draw cheerful faces using the white icing.

Feel free to enjoy them immediately or return them to the fridge until you are ready to present your adorable Love Monsters.

These are unbelievably cute! I’ll save this for next Valentine’s Day. I was even thinking of using different colors of melting candy to create various themed monsters for other occasions.
