I am a proud ambassador for Chicken of the Sea. This post is made possible by Chicken of the Sea, who supplied the EZ-Open cans and compensated me for my time, but all views expressed are entirely my own.
I’m a huge fan of Chicken of the Sea tuna. The taste is fantastic, and the freshness is unmatched. I appreciate being able to buy Solid White Albacore at an incredibly reasonable price. Plus, I can prepare lunch in less than five minutes using a single can. However, one aspect I dislike is opening the can! Wrestling with a traditional can opener and getting tuna juice everywhere can be quite frustrating. Fortunately, Chicken of the Sea has introduced their Solid White Albacore with an EZ-Open lid, which is a total game-changer.
Whether I’m at the gym or waiting in the carpool line, Chicken of the Sea’s new EZ-Open can makes it easy for me to enjoy a quick meal. No can opener is required, allowing me to take a can with me wherever I go.
You’ll soon find five of Chicken of the Sea’s best-selling products featuring pull-tab lids, commonly known as EZ-Open, at a grocery store near you. This improved range will be available across supermarkets nationwide and includes: Solid White Albacore in Water, Solid White Albacore in Oil, Chunk Light Tuna in Water, and Skinless & Boneless Pink Salmon, all with EZ-Open cans.
In support of their innovative packaging, Chicken of the Sea is giving fans an opportunity to win up to $25,000 in instant prizes just for playing a fun game and selecting the right EZ-Open can. The Chicken of the Sea Pull It Off Game allows you to try and grab a can as it spins on a virtual Lazy Susan tabletop—only the EZ-Open cans will be successful in this game. You can play once daily and have three attempts to seize the correct can to win instant prizes, which will be given as mobile-friendly digital gift cards. This game kicks off on October 13th and will run through November 12th on Chicken of the Sea’s Facebook page.

I find easy-open lids incredibly useful, don’t you? I really appreciate them. I get a bit exasperated when I pick up a can that requires a can opener, haha. I guess I’m just a little lazy!

This is fantastic because I always make a mess when I use a can opener on these cans. It’s so much more convenient to simply pull the lid off. What a great improvement!
