For my dog, the highlight of the week is undoubtedly dog park day. It’s a special occasion when the whole family hops into the car with a few extra tennis balls to share with fellow furry companions at our neighborhood park. Dog parks serve as vital spaces for both pets and their owners, promoting bonding, socialization, and a sense of community. We’ve formed friendships with other dog owners outside the park, and our dog has become more sociable due to these regular outings.

However, not every dog park is created equal. Some towns and small cities lack the necessary funds for their establishment. Fortunately, Beneful has recognized this gap and has been actively engaged in enhancing dog parks for the past five years.

The Beneful Dream Dog Park Project began as a competition where the team delighted a winning community with a renovated Dream Dog Park each year. This initiative has since expanded, aiming to bring happiness to more communities nationwide.

This year, the ambition is to assist a total of 12 parks through donations, community service events, and more. Beneful is collaborating with GoFundMe to further its mission. This partnership allows dog park organizers to run campaigns aimed at increasing funding for local parks, raising awareness, or facilitating the launch of new parks. Every month, Beneful highlights one GoFundMe dog park campaign to showcase.
