Many flavors
As a busy mom, I often arrive home just in time for dinner. Preparing an elaborate meal is usually the last thing I feel like doing.

McCormick provided me with an assortment of their skillet sauces to experiment with… they claim to be quick and effortless, so I decided to put them to the test.

Smoky Applewood BBQ Chicken with Bacon
I chose to first try the McCormick Smoky Applewood BBQ Chicken with Bacon, as my family loves chicken, and I’m always eager to discover new ways to prepare it for added flavor.

Cooking the chicken
To start, I heated some oil in my frying pan, added the chicken and onions, and seared the chicken for about five minutes on each side.

After searing, I lowered the heat, poured in the skillet sauce, and allowed it to simmer until the chicken was fully cooked.

As my husband came home from work, he immediately remarked, “Wow, something smells delicious.” The incredible fragrance that filled our home was sure to make anyone’s mouth water as they walked in.

Quick and Tasty Meal
Once the chicken was ready, it was time for the ultimate test: Would the kids enjoy it?

They sat down and devoured their meal, frequently asking for more sauce to enhance their chicken.

It was a winner with the entire family!

Everything Finished
Typically, we sit down for dinner around 5:30, and starting a meal at 5:15 was a bit of a challenge for me. However, we still managed to eat by 6:00.

Thanks to McCormick, I was able to whip up a quick meal that tasted as if it had been prepared over several hours.

I will surely keep a variety of McCormick skillet sauces stocked in my pantry!
