pediped® Launches Official Shoe Naming Challenge

Children’s footwear brand will dedicate a new shoe to one of its biggest supporters

The renowned children’s shoe brand pediped® is set to name a new shoe style after one of its enthusiastic fans. Parents and guardians worldwide are invited to submit their child’s name for a chance to have a pediped® shoe named in their honor. The chosen name will be featured in the upcoming pediped® Spring/Summer 2016 Collection. The contest will be held on Instagram, and participants must follow @pedipedfootwear to enter.

To participate, fans need to share a photo of their child along with their name and an explanation of why pediped® should name a shoe after them. The post should include the contest hashtag #namethatpediped and must tag @pedipedfootwear on Instagram.

“We are thrilled to engage our customers in the process of naming new styles,” said founder Angela Edgeworth. “Previously, we have named shoes after suggestions from our customers and former models’ children, but this is the first time we will name a style after one of our youngest fans. My girls cherish having shoes named for them. It’s something special and exciting!”

Photo submissions will be accepted until 11:59 PM PST on January 11, 2015. The selected winner will receive a $100 pediped gift card along with a complimentary pair of the newly named style. The winner will be announced in February, coinciding with the launch of the Spring/Summer 2015 Collection.
