Adorable and SIMPLE Mother’s Day Breakfast in Bed Idea

As Mother’s Day approaches (can you believe it’s almost MAY!?) I’m brainstorming ways for dads to assist kids in surprising moms.
While classic handprint crafts, poems, or sweet drawings are always a go-to, my kids usually want to do something a bit more exciting.
I spotted Farm Rich cinnamon french toast sticks at the grocery store and thought, “What a unique yet simple idea for the kids to create something special!” It’s essential to keep things simple—overly intricate and creative ideas tend to overwhelm dads.
Here are the ingredients required to prepare this delightful breakfast in bed for mom:
- 6 sticks Farm Rich cinnamon french toast sticks
- Some fruit
- Syrup (if she enjoys dipping—these are delicious on their own too!)
- Your choice of juice or coffee
- A flower to complete the “O”
Ready to dive into the instructions?
- Heat the french toast sticks according to the microwave directions on the box.
- Take two sticks and cut them diagonally in half (like this [ / ]).
- Use the four whole sticks to form the sides of the letter M.
- Position the two cut pieces between the M’s to form the vertical strokes.
- Place a flower between the two M’s to spell out MOM.
- Arrange your accompaniments on the tray.
- ENJOY!
And there you have it—a complete, uncomplicated, and adorable breakfast for MOM in bed. If you’re lucky, she might even share!
