Throughout my 23 years of being a mother, I’ve dealt with a significant amount of mom guilt. One of the biggest burdens I’ve faced is related to the food I provide for my children.
In my earlier years as a mom, I did my best within our limited financial means.
We relied heavily on Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, and PB&J sandwiches. Honestly, back then, our family didn’t consume enough fruits and vegetables since they often exceeded our budget, and my primary goal was to satisfy my children’s hunger.
Fast forward 15 years, and now I have a younger set of kids. The landscape of food has evolved considerably—and so has the weight of my mommy guilt.
I’ve learned that a balanced lunch is crucial for better health, and thankfully, my budget has improved as well. Now, however, I feel guilty for not presenting elaborate lunches for my kids.
Can you relate?
It’s hard not to notice the beautiful, artistic bento-style lunch boxes all over Pinterest, while my children carry simple, traditional lunches packed in baggies.
Don’t get me wrong; I’ve made efforts to spice up lunches a bit. Just take a look at my latest endeavor: star-shaped PB&J sandwiches. That’s about as fancy as I get!
Put it in a muffin tin, and I feel like a superhero, right? Haha!

Truthfully, I would prefer spending that additional time creating decorative lunches engaging in playtime with my kiddos.

That’s why I was thrilled to discover Mott’s® Snack & Go applesauce pouches.
All three flavors are a hit in our household:
- Mott’s® Snack & Go Strawberry
- Mott’s® Snack & Go Natural
- Mott’s® Snack & Go Original

These three delicious options come in a quick and convenient package, perfect for busy families like ours. It feels like every afternoon once school is out, we dash from one activity to another. Mott’s® Snack & Go pouches are incredibly easy to grab and toss in my bag for a quick, nutritious snack during a hectic day.
Mott’s® Snack & Go applesauce pouches deliver the same trusted applesauce goodness our active kids need, making it simple for me to give my children the real fruit benefits I expect from Mott’s—whenever and wherever they may be.

Among the choices, Ethan favors the Mott’s® Snack & Go Strawberry and Natural pouches. I appreciate that these are an excellent source of vitamin C and contain no added sugars.
As for Emma, she’s more of a traditionalist and quickly declared her fondness for the Mott’s® Snack & Go Original applesauce pouches. The Original flavor also provides an excellent source of vitamin C and retains the taste she has always loved.
I truly value that Mott’s Snack & Go continues to offer the same quality applesauce I’ve relied on. The new portable pouches are convenient, ensuring that we don’t create a big mess in the van during our travels—definitely a plus!
