My experiences at Worlds of Fun date back to my childhood. I remember celebrating my birthdays there with friends, enjoying thrilling roller coasters. Thus, when we were invited to participate in the opening weekend and bring our children along, I couldn’t resist!

Worlds of Fun is an incredible place to enjoy Spring Break, with entertainment that caters to everyone in the family. From exhilarating roller coasters to the delightful Planet Snoopy for young children, it truly offers a diverse array of family-friendly activities.

During a previous visit with our kids, Planet Snoopy emerged as their favorite. The area is loaded with options for younger guests, providing endless laughter and joy. This season, Planet Snoopy added five exciting new rides:

* Woodstock Gliders – Kids can pilot their own flight with adjustable wings.
* Snoopy Space Buggies – Experience gravity defiance with a bounce to the moon and back.

* Beagle Brigade Airfield – Join Snoopy for a thrilling aerial expedition (previously known as Flying Ace).
* Linus Launcher – Feel weightless as you soar through the air with your feet dangling.
* Snoopy Junction – Hop aboard for a railroad adventure with Snoopy the conductor.

With Emma and Ethan now tall enough to ride the major coasters, their experience at Worlds of Fun felt renewed and exhilarating. After a warm-up in Camp Snoopy, they eagerly headed for the big rides, with the Mamba topping their list.

This roller coaster had been on Emma’s bucket list for years, and she was ecstatic to finally meet the height requirement. During our wait, her excitement turned into a bit of anxiety right before boarding.

I’m thrilled to share that not only did Emma conquer her fears, but Ethan can also proudly say he rode the Mamba.

The next coaster on their list was the Patriot. This ride offered a unique experience as riders dangle beneath the track and go upside down.

Ethan was initially hesitant about this ride, but Dad reassured him by pointing out younger riders who were braver than he felt.
I’ll admit, I may have screamed a bit on this one! After several years off coasters, this ride was exhilaratingly fast and incredibly smooth. As we exited, Emma couldn’t stop jumping with excitement, wanting to ride it again, while Ethan quietly opted to sit out the second time.

With the major roller coasters behind us, the family enjoyed a laid-back day filled with gentler yet equally enjoyable rides. Having loved spinning rides since childhood, I joined my kids for a spin on the Scrambler, where smiles were abundant as they recalled the fun from our last visit.

If you don’t mind a splash, don’t miss the Viking Voyager with your kids. This classic ride has been a family favorite since my youth, primarily for that thrilling drop and the splash that followed. As shown in their expressions, my children adored it—but it seemed Dad got the brunt of the splashes this time!

From young to young at heart, we all had a fantastic day making memories at Worlds of Fun. We’re even contemplating purchasing season passes!
Wondering why? Depending on the type of season pass you choose, it can pay for itself in just a couple of visits!
Daily tickets can also be purchased through the Worlds of Fun website or at the park entrance.

I share your sentiments! Spending time with my children is invaluable. There’s nothing quite like seeing their happiness when we visit Disneyland.
