Ladybug Pretzels


Planning a birthday celebration or event? These delightful ladybug pretzels are not only cute but also delicious. They are quick and straightforward to prepare, making them a great treat for any occasion.

Ingredients required:


– 24 Mini Pretzels
– 1 cup Red Candy Melting Chips
– 24 Brown M&Ms
– 48 Candy Eyes or Mini White Chocolate Chips
– 96 Black Candy Pearls


Ladybug Pretzels Process


Begin by arranging the pretzels on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
Melt the red candy chips in the microwave for 30 seconds, stirring in between until fully melted. Let cool for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the melted chocolate into a corner of a ziplocked bag and snip a small piece off the corner for piping.
Carefully pipe the melted candy into the inside edges of the pretzel until fully filled, smoothing with your finger if needed.


Finished Ladybug Pretzels


For the ladybug’s head, place a Brown M&M on the rounded end of the pretzel.
Add 4 black candy pearls as spots on each pretzel.
Use a small drop of melted chocolate to adhere the eyes to the head.
Finally, refrigerate the cookie sheet for about 20 minutes to allow the candy to fully set.


Voilà! These treats make a delightful addition to any gathering.

Instructions
  1. Place pretzels on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
  2. Melt red candy chips in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth, and then cool for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the melted chocolate into a ziplock bag and snip the corner for piping.
  4. Fill the inside of the pretzels with the piped chocolate and smooth if needed.
  5. Position a Brown M&M at the rounded end of each pretzel as the head.
  6. Add four black candy pearls for decoration.
  7. Employ a small dot of melted chocolate to attach the eyes.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to set.
