With CVS now operating inside my local Target, I’ve been actively enjoying their digital features for the past few months. CVS is recognized for its fantastic ExtraCare Rewards and Pharmacy and Health Rewards, which I can now utilize at Target!

The ExtraCare loyalty program along with the optional ExtraCare Pharmacy & Health Rewards allows me to earn $5 in ExtraBucks Rewards for every ten prescriptions I fill. I can also receive extra rewards for healthy actions, like getting vaccinations or opting for email reminders for refills. I can then use those ECB to shop for enjoyable items!

The CVS Mobile App keeps me updated on when my prescriptions are ready and simplifies the process of refilling prescriptions or checking information swiftly. Additionally, the app enables me to check for any potential adverse interactions with other medications, identify pills by entering descriptions such as shape, color, and imprint, and scan a prescription barcode for quick ordering!

The CVS.com pharmacy page is designed to help manage health information effortlessly. It allows me to check when to refill prescriptions, gather necessary information regarding my medications, schedule future refills, enroll in text notification services for prescription pickups, locate CVS Pharmacy and MinuteClinic centers, and easily transfer prescriptions to CVS Pharmacy!

The Drug Information Center provides instant access to clear and concise information on numerous drugs, empowering me to make healthier decisions and engage in informed discussions with my healthcare providers. New medication summaries feature large images of pills along with informative “How This Drug Works” videos that illustrate the medication’s effects within the body.

For patients managing multiple prescriptions, there is an option to consolidate prescription and non-prescription health details into a customized printable list that can be folded to wallet size, enhancing communication between the patient and healthcare provider.

I haven’t visited CVS in quite a while, but I appreciate when pharmacies offer these additional services. I’ll be sure to check them out.
