 While Thanksgiving hasn’t yet arrived, the holiday spirit begins to bloom for me the Monday before it.

One of the characters my children adore from our cherished holiday stories is none other than Rudolph.

This adorable and easy craft keeps my little ones joyfully engaged, often singing the familiar tune while they snack.

ESSENTIALS
24 small Candy Canes
12 Hershey Kisses
12 Red Candy Decoratives (such as Red Hots)
24 Candy Eyes
1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Melting Chips
1 White Melting Chip

STEPS
Start by covering a cutting board or cookie sheet with wax paper.
Melt the chocolate candy chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
Dip the straight ends of two candy canes into the melted chocolate, shaking off any excess.
Arrange the two canes on the wax paper so their hooks point in opposite directions.
Set an unwrapped Hershey Kiss atop the chocolate-dipped candy canes.
Repeat this step with the remaining candy canes.
Using a toothpick, place a small amount of melted chocolate to attach a red candy on top of the Kiss for a nose.
Then, attach candy eyes using another dab of melted chocolate.
For the white candy chip, place it on the wax paper and heat it in the microwave for 15 seconds.
Use a second toothpick to add a white smile to each reindeer.

Instructions

1. STEPS

3. Melt chocolate candy chips in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring until fully melted.
4. Dip the straight ends of two candy canes in the chocolate and let the extra drip off.
5. Place the canes on the wax paper, aiming their hooks in different directions.
6. Set an unwrapped Hershey Kiss on each chocolate-dipped cane.
7. Repeat the process with the remaining canes.
8. Using a toothpick, apply melted chocolate and stick a red candy on top of the Kiss as a nose.
9. With another toothpick, use melted chocolate to secure the eyes in place.
10. Heat a white candy chip on wax paper in the microwave for 15 seconds.
11. Use a separate toothpick to brush on a white smile for each reindeer.
